The Health Foundation

The Client

The Health Foundation is an independent charity committed to bringing about better health and health care for people in the UK. The organisation’s aim is a healthier population, supported by high quality health care that can be equitably accessed.

The purpose of the ‘Mile in my Shoes’ campaign was to promote the underlying motive of creating empathy and understanding among policymakers, NHS leaders, those working across the health service and social care.


The Project

The Health Foundation required a fully-editable, interactive microsite to serve as an engaging and equitably accessible digital experience to support their innovative Mile In My Shoes exhibition stand.

Following a hugely successful launch of the site, The Health Foundation subsequently commissioned Mau Media to initiate and execute their marketing and social media strategy for the campaign. This also included full copywriting services as well as supplying all print collateral and event merchandise.

The campaign gained considerable traction and was exhibited at the Houses of Parliament, as well as gaining international recognition and winning multiple awards in the prestigious CMA, DRUM Marketing and CIM Awards.
